Six panels have been placed in the town of Brec’h (Morbihan), near the biodiversity reservoirs. A signage program set up by the regional natural park of the Gulf of Morbihan to remind everyone that animals are also road users. « It’s not the deer crossing the road, it’s the man who made a road in the middle of the forest« , recalls Fabrice Robelet, mayor of Brec’h.

Panels deployed in other municipalities

An awareness campaign that seems to have hit the mark with the population. « People may no longer pay too much attention to nature », notes a driver. « If it helps to protect animals, it’s a good thing », said a resident. After Brec’h, these panels will be deployed in other towns around the Gulf of Morbihan, so that animals can stay by the roadside, in peace.
