Independer is going to collaborate with Lemonade – Insurance for Pets

Comparison and advice platform Independer will collaborate with the innovative home contents and liability insurance company Lemonade. The American tech company has been offering insurance on the Dutch market since April this year. Consumers looking for contents and liability insurance through Independer can now also opt for Lemonade.

Felix Tenniglo, CEO of Independer, is pleased with the collaboration: “There is room for new players in the Dutch insurance market. Lemonade has an innovative insurance model and is doing well in America, among others. Lemonade has recently also started in the Netherlands. Independer helps consumers make the best choice. And we are therefore delighted that we can now also offer Lemonade’s contents and liability insurance – in addition to all other providers. ”

Lemonade is a young American tech company that is taking the insurance market by storm with their ‘Policy 2.0’, a simplified and digitized policy. Acceptance and claims settlement mainly takes place on the basis of artificial intelligence. Lemonade is keen to make a social impact. A fixed part of the premium is used for operating costs. The rest is for damages and what remains goes to a charity that customers determine themselves.
