The billing procedures for 2021
Cattle sector: The compulsory contributions are calculated according to the sanitary risk associated with the herd and the number and age of animals born, kept and added to the herd during the reference period. The contributions are calculated on the basis of the data registered in Sanitel for the reference period which runs from 01/09/2020 to 31/08/2021.
Pig sector: The compulsory contributions are calculated in function of the herd capacity: number of breeding pig places and the number of finishing pig places, and the open or closed character (a 1-1 relationship is considered a closed character) of these places. The contributions are calculated on the basis of the data registered in Sanitel for the reference period which runs from 01/07/2020 to 30/06/2021.
Submitting objections
If the invoice is disputed, you can submit a written (post) or electronic (e-mail) objection within 30 days of the date of that invoice (the date on the postmark is taken into account) The period of 30 days for the submitting a notice of objection is strictly enforced to guarantee a rapid processing of the files.
