Dear readers. We are forced to cancel the possibility to react to our articles again because we suffer a lot from spam responses and extra web traffic. As a result, the demand for our website is too high, as a result of which our web hosting has already placed us inactive several times. We have to look for a solution again to ensure that you as a reader can continue to respond, but also that the website remains “in the air”.
More than 30,000 comments have been posted on Spain Today, and we would like to maintain the ability to respond, but in a way that keeps the website up and running. By comparison, on a normal day, between 30 and 50 responses are posted, but just as many or more spam responses arrive that are screened and detected, but which makes the website slower and sometimes unreachable. As a result, well-intentioned responses can also come between the spam responses and we cannot always check that (also because we are not behind the computer for 24 hours and the spam is automatically removed every day).
We apologize for the inconvenience and we look again (it is the third time this has happened) for a solution. You can always click on our Facebook page and Facebook group or on Twitter to comment on our articles. If you have any questions about anything, you can always send us an email or contact us via WhatsApp. We try to answer all questions about Spain. Editors.
