ELST – Sunday evening a house fire raged at the Grote Kamp in Elst. This happened on the 18th birthday of one of the residents. The rescued pets were able to get into the police car.

The fire broke out around 9:40 PM. A lamp in the bedroom caught fire for unknown reasons. Two teenagers were in the house at the time of the fire and immediately raised the alarm and fled the house with the cat. Two fire trucks and an aerial platform rushed to the house to fight the fire. The police were also great.
On arrival, the police took over the rescued cat and put it in one of the service vehicles. The fire brigade was quickly on the spot and quickly brought the fire under control. The fire briefly spread to the rear of the house. The windows are all blackened.
Birthday
A resident later got into the police vehicle to catch the cat. The house has been temporarily uninhabitable. Neighbors sympathize with the family: « It happened exactly on the 18th birthday of a resident, a daughter would have turned 18 today. »
Just after 10:15 p.m., the fire brigade was able to pack up and go home.
