Disappeared in early 2015, Charlie has recently returned to his mistress at a time when she needs comfort the most, because she is sick and bereaved by the loss of her other companions. The cat was able to make the long trip to find the young woman thanks to a company specializing in the transport of pets.
Ashley Orians, a nurse living in upstate New York, and his chat Charlie adore each other. She had taken in him in 2010 when he was still a very young child kitten. The red feline had been discovered left to fend for itself on his college campus and had the broken tail.
Everything was going well for the pair of inseparable friends until February 2015, when the cat had vanished. Its owner, who lived near Charleston in South Carolina at the time, had searched everywhere for months, but to no avail.
It is only recently that the situation has taken off. Ashley Orians, touched by the Covid-19, was browsing the photos on a page Facebook dedicated to lost animals, when she has recognized Charlie, report WGNO. He was the only ginger cat with a broken tail.
After the confirmation, there remained the problem of distance. The animal was more than 1400 kilometers home of its owner, who was in isolation moreover. She finally found a solution; Michael Morgan and his company pet transport.

The reunion were finally able to take place. It was 6 years what Charlie and Ashley Orians were separated from each other. The return of the cat could not have come at a better time for the nurse, having to deal with illness and loneliness. Moreover, its 2 other cats are deceased the last year.
