NEETS Projects

The WCVYS Field Worker supports Voluntary Organisations who are in receipt of funding from Coventry and Warwickshire Connexions, to work with young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
Voluntary organisations can apply for grants to do projects with young people which will give them the skills and confidence to enter into employment, training or education. The Field Worker offers support and guidance to all VCS organisations as well as acting as a link person between the Voluntary Sector and Connexions.
WCVYS recently facilitated it's third event for workers from Connexions and the Voluntary Sector as well as young people who have been involved in the NEETS projects. Click here for the report on the April 2008 Conference. And here for the report appendix.
