WCVYS Grants
Updated 8 September 2011
We have three separate forms, with detailed guidance to help you to decide if your training or project meets the criteria.
It is essential that you download and read the guidance and the grant matrix before completing your grant application form. Please note that the guidance form applies to all of the grants.
Click on each grant below to download the relevant form.
A) The Programme / Project Grants are specifically for projects with young people.
B) The Group Training Grants are for groups of adults and/or senior members wishing to undertake training which will enhance their work with young people.
C) The Individual Training Grants are for individual adults or senior members wishing to take part in a course which will enhance their work with young people.
Applications are now being taken for the above grants.
Deadlines: 1 October 2011

Every Child Matters 5 Outcomes
In line with many other funding applications, we have a section which asks you to describe how your intended outcomes will evidence one or more of the Every Child Matters outcomes. These provide a framework for measuring how circumstances are improving for children and young people. When completing this section of your form, you need to be thinking about how the activity you are proposing will actually improve the lives of the young people with whom you are working.
The National Council of Voluntary Child Care Organisations (NCVCO) have produced a useful and straightforward fact sheet called Why use the 5 Every Child Matters Outcomes to monitor and evaluate?
If you need any help with this section, or have any other queries about the grant application process, then please don't hesitate to contact Vic or Helen at WCVYS and we will be happy to help.
Grant Reports
It is essential that a full report is completed and returned to WCVYS once the programme or training has finished. Please download the report forms from attachments below.
