First Aid Training 2011-12
WCVYS in junction with the Red Cross offer Basic First Aid Courses to volunteer youth workers working in Warwickshire. To find out what qualification the course offers please look at the course information below.

KEY Birmingham’s Training Dates Released!
As part of Progress in the West Midlands, KEY Birmingham is offering a range of training courses for staff working in the children and young people's (CYP) voluntary and community sector (VCS), most of which are COMPLETELY FREE.
Courses include numerous essential areas including Safeguarding, Emergency First Aid, Citizenship, Communications, Equality and Diversity, Mentoring, as well as Youth Work and Trainer qualifications.

G:up is coordinating Progress in the West Midlands; Progress is a national project to provide 25,000 accredited training places to staff and volunteers in the children and young people’s voluntary and community sector. Progress is managed nationally by NCVYS (National Council for Voluntary Youth Services), under contract from CWDC (Children's Workforce Development Council).
