Affiliation

see current WCVYS MembersMembership of WCVYS is open to

  • County and district wide voluntary children and youth organisations
  • Statutory groups who have voluntary children's and youth provision as part of their programme

To safeguard children and young people we expect all members to have policies and procedures in place for checking staff and volunteers (CRB checks); an equal opportunities policy, a safeguarding (child protection) policy, health and safety guidelines and adequate insurance in place. We can advise you on all these requirements if necessary.

We encourage all affiliated members to gain the Warwickshire Award for Involvement, (WAI).

WAI is a recognised tool that helps voluntary sector organisations develop childrens' and young people's active participation and involvement in all aspects of the organisation.  WCVYS can offer support for members in achieving WAI.

Affiliation fees are £46 annually. WCVYS aims to keep all voluntary groups in it’s membership up to date with information via email mailings, our newsletter and by regularly updating our website.

If you would like to affiliate to WCVYS, you can download the form. Once approved, we will invoice you for your first affiliation fee. Return the form either by email or by post.
